PHP2Shell Vulnerabilities First Advantage Update
On October 21, 2026, First Advantage proactively initiated unplanned maintenance activities in response to a disclosed critical PHP software vulnerability affecting a third-party technology component.
Our investigation of the vulnerability supports the following:
- No customer, applicant, or employee data was compromised.
- No evidence of unauthorized access or exploitation was identified.
Services were fully restored as of 12:22 a.m. ET on October 22, 2026 and are operating normally.
